About the Job
Alicia rents a room in a house owned by two brothers who are struggling to make rent. What starts as a normal two-week Airbnb stay slowly turns into a nightmare when Alicia begins overstepping boundaries and ultimately refuses to leave. She is calm, articulate, and persistent. Alicia never raises her voice, never becomes physical, and never technically does anything “wrong.” Instead, she uses social pressure, confusion, and the brothers’ fear of legal or financial consequences to take control of the house. This is not a victim role. Alicia is manipulative, entitled, and unsettling in how comfortable she becomes in a space that isn’t hers. The role requires strong naturalism and restraint. The performance should feel real, grounded, and uncomfortable — not theatrical. Must be comfortable with intense dialogue and confrontation. She carries trauma quietly. Her strength isn’t performative — it’s internal. The role requires an actor who can communicate layers with stillness, silence, and micro-shifts.
